YOUR ROLE- Accelerate growth by identifying new opportunities for paper coatings to existing and new customers.
- Ability to make an Impact at high levels of the customer organization with the ability to sell to Top Management.
- Serve as a technical resource for paper coatings, collaborating with manufacturing and engineering to provide support.
- Alignment with the front shop to deliver value that meets the customer's strategic roadmap.
- Collaborate with Application Engineering, Marketing, Key Account Managers, and Customer Service and other internal teams to ensure internal alignment, customer support, and resolution.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to manage prospects, customers, pipeline activity, and other customer support functions.
- Work closely with sales to understand paper converting products, applications, and opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Support other various sales initiatives as identified.
YOUR SKILLS- BA/BS Degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, business, or related discipline required.
- 5+ years of sales experience in a B2B manufacturing environment with selling technical products used in manufacturing and converting environments is required.
- Experience in paper coatings, industrial adhesives, paper converting, and/or packaging is preferred.
- High level of Business acumen to include strong communication and negotiation skills, crisis management, sales forecasting, and overall business development.
- Proven experience creating and maintaining accounts based on excellent customer relationships.
- Excellent planning, organization, customer focus, results, and relationship building skills.
- Expertise in value selling and quantification process.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and on an individual level.
- Ideal candidate will reside in or near the Midwest. Preferably NE, IA, WI, MN or the Dakotas.
The salary for this role is $87,100.00- $107,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
