Sr SAP ABAP DeveloperJob Category: Information TechnologyTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: NoneEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: NoneType of Travel: Local* * *The Opportunity:CACI is seeking an experienced technical SAP ABAP developer to help support ongoing enhancement, operations, and maintenance activities for a large US Government Agency transformation program. You will integrate into our team as we develop, test, debug, implement, maintain, and document solutions in an SAP NetWeaver application environment.In this role, you will be integral in creating, modifying, and maintaining Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms and Workflows (RICEFW) objects on ECC, CRM, SRM and other SAP systems which support the mission specific requirements of our client.You will participate in all phases of the ASAP system development life cycle, including operations and maintenance (O&M) and enhancement support.Responsibilities:Develop, test, debug, implement, maintain, and document ABAP code used in RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms and Workflows) objectsProvide optimization, enhancement and O&M support for ABAP applications which perform financial and business management functions on SAP (ECC, CRM, SRM) instancesParticipate in the analysis of the customer's business operations to validate requirements and scope, suggest process improvements, and assist in level of effort (LOE) estimation, if requiredDevelop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents, and conduct unit, integration, and release testing to validate functionalitySupport end-users Acceptance Testing activities, and participate in Production Operations and Release Management supportModernize User Interfaces by designing and building applications consistent with the SAP Fiori Application Architecture, including SAP application templates (e.g.: Worklist, Master-Detail), Smart Controls, Dynamic UI Content, Smart Templates, Fragments and ThemesImplementing Fiori applications (transactional, factsheet and analytical) and enhancing standard applications using enhancement frameworkDesigning & modeling OData services using the Gateway Service BuilderDoing performance tuning of SAP applicationsFielding applications within existing application Launchpad environmentsQualifications:Required:BS/BA degree -will consider experience in lieu of a degreeMinimum 12 years of overall experience, 8 years of relevant experience with SAP.Experience extending SAP standard functionality using ABAP Objects and other modern SAP technologies.Experience in SRM Procurement for Public Sector (PPS)Experience in Supply Chain ManagementDemonstrated experience doing performance tuning of SAP applicationsExperience developing software in SAP NetWeaver ABAP Stack environments using:ABAP Objects, ABAP Reports, ABAP online transactions, WebdynproInterface/dialog programming, BAPI, ALE and IDOC'sUser Exits, BADIs, and Batch ProgrammingCore Data Services (CDS)SAP UI5 related technologies and development tools (e.g.: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, WebIDE, Eclipse, etc.)RESTful APIs (e.g.: OData) and SAP GatewayExperience in report development with ALV's, drill down and PDF formsExperience with the SAP ABAP Data Dictionary and other SAP repository objectsExperience in BRF+ frameworkEffective code optimization, program performance analysis and tuning experienceAbility to adhere to strict development standards and conduct code reviewsAbility to work individually (self-motivated) and within a team environmentAbility to communicate effectively with Management – providing status information, suggesting corrective actions, and taking direction when decisions are made; and diverse customer organizations – accepting guidance and feedback on requirements and deliverablesMust be willing and able to obtain a Public Trust (US Citizenship required)Desired:SAP Certification in one or more of the following disciplines:Experience implementing SAP S/4 HANAAbility to develop custom Java Applications using CRM E-Commerce and Web Channel Experience Management (WCEM)Browser debugging tools for modern browsers (e.g.: Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)Knowledge of developing SAP Java Application software in SAP NetWeaver Java Stack environments using:SAP CRM E-CommerceBuilding or extending Java applications in SAP CRM, and ECCDeveloping and supporting SAP Java ApplicationsSAP Certification in one or more of the following disciplinesABAP Development and MaintenanceUI5 or Fiori Design and Development-________________________________________________________________________________________What You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
