CNC Machine Operator - Staffworks : Job Details

Our client is an innovative mid-sized manufacturing company in Seymour that manufactures electronic hardware and components for the Defense, Aerospace, Automotive, Agriculture, Electric Vehicles, Medical and much more. We are immediately seeking to add to their CNC Machining team to support recent growth.Job Summary:Operate CNC Lathe Machines to fabricate production parts.Essential Job Functions

• Operates CNC lathe machines.
• Make appropriate offsets and adjust tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints as needed.
• Properly use calipers, veneers, and thread gauges.
• Properly and safely load and unload machines.
• Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machines.
• Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
• Utilize and abide by all safety procedures.
• Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

• Attention to detail with precision equipment and products
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required. State Apprentice Program Certification in CNC a plus
• 1-3 years operating experience in CNC lathe machining.
• Ability to hold tight tolerances.

Physical Requirements

• Required to stand, walk, or bend for extended periods of time.

Work hours:M-F 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm, possible OT on SaturdaysPay:$18-$22 per hour.IND-123
