Job description: In your new role you will:
- Operate and manage IFX facilities and equipment.
- Plan, control, and direct real estate, property and asset activities.
- Work within defined technical processes and procedures or methodologiesand may help determine the appropriate approach for problems or assignments
- Work with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused onlyon complex new assignments
- Perform highly complex and varied tasks and atypical assignments
- Typically, has specialized external certification
- Guide and support junior team members; may assist in their formal orientation and training
- Maintain equipment and system in Fab 25 Central Plant (CUB) 2. Setsup/ coordinates projects that involve repairs or changes to centralplant equipment.
- Monitor system controls and alarms and responds tocorrect issues or problems that come up.
- Help perform equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance tasks, repairs, work orders, andimprovements.
- Work with Facilities Engineers, Facilities Managers,and customers. 6. Documents system changes, problems, alarms, and maintenance.
- Solve system problems and out of control conditions.
- Order system and equipment parts.
- Generate purchase orders for work orservices.
- Work with control engineers and technicians to keepsystems operating smoothly and at desired set points.
- Does some calibrations and control changes to resolve system problems.
Your Profile: You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- 3-5 years of experience in maintaining office building, Fab building, and Test building facilities systems.
- Technical degree in electrical, controls, refrigeration, or HVAC maintenance.
- 2-4 years of experience in maintaining a semiconductor plant facilities system is a plus.
- Strong communication skills orally and in written form.
- Good at analyzing control data and changes in data.
- Works well with other Facilities crew members, Facilities Engineers, Facilities Management, and customers.
- Works well with their hands. Has the ability to see system and equipment problems and make repairs.
- B or D shift: 6:00PM-6:00AM. B shift-Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday. D shift- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday. One shift will be the primary shift and the other shift will be the supporting shift.
- Experience with the following systems: Chillers, Boilers, pumps, aircompressors, cooling towers, air handlers, scrubbers, fans, vacuumpumps, house vacuum systems, process cooling loops, control components,solvent exhaust systems, cleanrooms, fan filter units, Variable AirVolume boxes, and air driers.
