Job Title: 81243 - Sr. Systems EngineerScroll down the page to see all associated job requirements, and any responsibilities successful candidates can expect.Job Location: Canonsburg PA 15317 Onsite Requirements:8+years of Systems Engineer experienceDOORSDoD experienceJob Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our team.In this role, you will be responsible for driving the systems engineering process for high-reliability, mission-critical systems, focusing on requirements analysis, system design, integration, and testing.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine system architectures, ensure compliance with customer requirements, and deliver innovative solutions that meet performance needs in dynamic environments.This role involves working hands-on in a DOORS environment while also promoting and implementing additional tools and methodologies as needed.Responsibilities:Requirements Analysis & Management:Analyze, define, and manage system requirements using DOORS and other tools.Own the process of requirements analysis, allocation, and verification.Identify adjustments to system designs needed to meet evolving requirements.System Design & Architecture:Collaborate with the Chief Engineer to make critical architectural, design, and technology decisions.Conduct detailed trade studies, functional and performance analysis, and system-level architecture development.Lead design adjustments to ensure system compliance with high-reliability, mission-critical requirements.Integration & Test:Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and procedures to validate system performance.Support system, hardware, and software integration, ensuring seamless operation across subsystems.Perform system verification, validation, and interface definition studies.Preferred Skills / Experience:Strong background in systems engineering for high-reliability, mission-critical, and embedded systems.Expertise in requirements analysis, decomposition, and verification.Proficiency in DOORS or similar tools, with a track record of implementing system engineering methodologies.Experience with autonomous systems, Navy, or subsea systems is highly desirable.Knowledge of systems integration, test strategies, and failure analysis.Demonstrated technical excellence, including risk identification, mitigation, and problem-solving.Ability to lead strategic initiatives, mentor teams, and manage complex projects effectively.Experience in DoD environments with a focus on compliance with customer and mission needs.Qualifications:Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in STEM fields (Engineering preferred).8+ years of relevant systems engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.DoD experience is required; Navy or subsea systems expertise is a plus.S. citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
