As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Project Manager/Senior Traffic Engineer to lead the way in delivering cutting-edge traffic engineering solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting public and private projects across Texas, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Colorado—where your expertise will shape the future of transportation.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and Innovate: Take the reins in delivering world-class traffic engineering and ITS services that set the standard for public and private clients.
- Drive Excellence: Manage traffic engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring the highest quality products are delivered on time and within budget.
- Design the Future: Prepare and review traffic design and construction documents for traffic signals, roadway illumination, ITS, signage, and pavement markings that meet state and national standards.
- Model Tomorrow's Traffic: Conduct and oversee advanced traffic modeling, including forecasting, travel demand modeling, and microscoping (VISSIM/CORSIM).
- Shape Safety and Efficiency: Perform detailed traffic engineering and safety analysis to improve roadway safety and traffic flow.
- Collaborate for Success: Supervise and mentor a talented team of engineers and technicians while working closely with other functional groups to ensure quality and innovation.
- Build Relationships: Cultivate new client relationships, deliver innovative solutions, and actively pursue business development opportunities.
- Think Forward: Stay ahead of the curve by researching and implementing the latest technologies to offer unmatched value to your clients.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 4+ years of experience in traffic engineering and related design packages.
- A Texas PE license (or the ability to obtain it within six months).
- Bonus points if you have experience with TxDOT projects and hold certifications like PTOE and RSP (preferred)
- A passion for technology and experience with design/analysis software such as Microstation, AutoCAD, Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, and CORSIM.
- Exceptional communication skills—you'll be leading teams and building strong client relationships.
