Staff Accountant - Lofton Staffing & Security : Job Details

Lofton Staffing is seeking a Staff Accountant for accounting team in Gonzales, LA!GENERAL ACCOUNTING

• Maintain general ledger account balances and all supporting schedules for assigned areas.
• Prepare and distribute sales and gross margin reports monthly. Investigate and document fluctuations from prior year and budget (by customer, brand, category or item).
• Prepare weekly, monthly and annual reports for management purposes.
• Prepare applicable schedules as needed for external auditors (financial, sales tax, bank, etc.)
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closings.
• Reconcile Intercompany accounts.

#insj Requirements: Requirements for this position include:

• 2+ years of experience in Accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products. Advanced Excel skills required.
• Microsoft Navision/Dynamics/Business Central 365 experience a plus.
