Staff Accountant - Robert Half : Job Details

DescriptionWe are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Reading, Pennsylvania. This role is within the finance industry where the selected individual will be a crucial part of our team, responsible for a variety of accounting duties.Responsibilities:-Ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.- Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy in financial statements.- Oversee the maintenance of financial data and records, ensuring they are accurate and complete.- Manage the processing of both accounts payable and receivable.- Carry out month-end close procedures to ensure timely reporting.- Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks.- Exercise a supervisory role, providing guidance to entry level staff members.- Handle a variety of accounting tasks, from journal entries to budgetary analysis.- Analyze and review budgets and expenditures for local, state, federal and private funding, contracts and grants.If interested, please send resume on word document to Jim.Kirk@Roberthalf comRequirements - Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management- Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations- Thorough understanding of General Ledger maintenance- Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries- Experience with Month End Close procedures- Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks- Experience with Oracle accounting software- Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial management- Familiarity with SAP for accounting processesRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
