STAFF COUNSEL - Office of Legal Ethics Counsel : Job Details

The Office of Legal Ethics Counsel is seeking a full-time Staff Counsel to assist fellow Missouri lawyers by providing informal advisory opinions about lawyers prospective conduct under the Missouri Rules of Professional Conduct.Other duties as assigned. Applicant must be a Missouri lawyer in good standing. At least five years relevant legal experience is desired. Practice experience with the Rules of Professional Conduct, professional responsibility, or a background in legal ethics is also preferred. Training will be provided.This position is located in Jefferson City, MO and the office operates Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m., with an opportunity for partial remote work.
