The Clinical Coordinator II has responsibility for Large Clinical Departments ( 900 annual patient visits) with multiple programs. The Clinical Coordinator II has the ability to articulate a compelling, actionable vision for the unit/department. He or she facilitates teamwork and unit pride by advocating for an environment that promotes quality patient care standards and implements strategies to ensure patient and physician satisfaction. The Clinical Coordinator II has the authority, accountability, and responsibility for the management of patient care within his/her respective areas. Areas of responsibility will include nursing practice, physician relations, personnel management, staff development, positive customer relations and department finances. This position will demonstrate sound clinical judgment and decision making skills within the clinic of oversight.Qualifications:
BSN Required.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a pediatric setting.
Advanced certification in field of specialty preferred.
Previous management experience preferred.
Current Texas Licensure
Current PALS
