Overview:THIS POSITION COMES WITH A $10,000 SIGNING BONUSScope of Responsibilities: Oversees operations of the Pharmacy department. Relies on experience and professional judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.Job Summary: Responsible for the implementation and adherence to the HealthDirect Standard of Practice as it relates to the provision of the highest quality health care service to our customers.Responsibilities:Job Duties:Follows the HealthDirect Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptionsPerforms all quality assurance steps to insure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed. Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelinesFollows all State and Federal regulations governing the practice of PharmacyOversees the initial submission, resubmission and collection of all third party claimsManages and balances the pharmacy inventory to ensure maximum turns while still remaining in-stock for customer needs.Insures prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelinesInsure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees at all timesInsure all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss PreventionOversees the maintenance of the pharmacy department to insure a clean and professional environmentMaintains and develops professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professionsMaintains an awareness of developments in the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integrates them into own practiceMaintains confidentiality regarding all patient informationFacilitates communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.Work on-call schedule, where applicableInteracts with Facility Manager in the appropriate completion of hiring practices, performance reviews and disciplinary actions of pharmacy department personnel.Perform MTM, IMMR, short stay reviews, delivery at discharge, and other clinical functions to support consultant pharmacists and maintain compliance at customer locations.Assists in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within said guidelinesInterface with various auditors and outside agencies, as neededResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Education:Minimum: BS or Pharm D degree in PharmacyJob Requirements:Possess and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice PharmacyAbility to stand/walk throughout majority of shiftSuccessful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening testSpecial Conditions of Employment:Drug testInitial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoringAny and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific positionRequired Training:HIPPA Privacy CourseHIPPA Security CourseFraud, Waste, and Abuse CourseHIPPA Privacy CE Mastery ExamHIPPA Security CE Mastery ExamFraud, Waste, and Abuse CE Mastery ExamJob Skills Required:Strong customer service and communication skillsStrong Organizational skillsBasic keyboarding skillsManagement Skills Required:Customer Service: Must provide timely and accurate responses to all business associates and customersPlanning: Must develop effective plans, objectives and goals that achieve desired results in a timely mannerOrganization: Must organize work in a systematic way, establish clear lines of responsibility, and delegate effectivelyCommunication: Must write and speak clearly and effectively at all levels, listen and be attentive to othersDecision Making: Gather, analyze data and make and/or implement effective decisions in a timely mannerTechnology: Must use technology to its fullest potential to achieve department and corporate goalsLeadership Skills Required:Leadership: Gains acceptance of ideas and accomplishes goals through subordinates, peers and teamsPersonnel Development: Selects, trains, coaches and develops associates and teams for peak performanceTeam Work: Must strengthen team performance by sharing information, establishing guidelines and celebrating successEmpowerment: Demonstrates positive and active ownership of one's responsibilities and fosters the same in othersEmployee Relations: Provides and solicits constructive feedback, evaluates performance and takes corrective actionBehavioral Traits:Intuitive/Open minded: Must be able to see opportunities, develop and implement creative solutions to complex problemsAchievement Drive/Commitment: Driven to achieve goals, objectives and results. To balance multiple priorities and deliver under pressureCompensation:$135,000 - 145,600 per yearThe final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. is a multistate organization and abides by all local, state and federal regulations as it pertains to minimum wage requirements.
