Physical therapists are overworked and underpaid. They often see too many patients in a day, work long hours, and are constantly pressured to hit their metrics. This can be incredibly frustrating and lead to burnout. We believe that physical therapists should be able to focus on their patients without having to worry about these things. Hi, I am Dr. Shaden Ghattas, Owner of Universus PT & Wellness. I hope you are okay with me telling you a little about our backstory.

After graduating PT school... I worked in a few different settings throughout my career, hospital outpatient, acute Care, High Volume Outpatient.

In each of them I found that I was seeing too many patients per day, wasn't able to provide the care that I wanted to give each patient, and wasn't making the impact that I dreamed of when becoming a physical therapist.

I remember coming home late, and being so frustrated.

Almost to the point where I was wondering if PT was really the career for me.

Don't get me wrong I learned a ton during those work experiences, but I wanted to be different and make a difference in people's lives.

So, I started my own little Side Hustle , while working all my other jobs.

About 12 years ago, I decided to open my own practice with the goal of providing one-on-one care to my patients and really getting to know them and their goals. I wanted to help my patients get back to the activities they love without pain.

Since opening our doors, we have been fortunate enough to grow quickly and have amazing team members. We are now looking for another new full-time physical therapist to join our team.

Over the past couple years we have been able to help 1000s of local residents.

The key metrics we pride ourselves on is not patient volume, number of new patients, or gross revenue.... but our customer satisfaction and staff retention rates.

Most of our staff has been with us for 3+ years after hire.

And for that we are blessed to have such a great team here at Universus PT & Wellness.

We are looking for a passionate, outgoing, and experienced physical therapist to work with us part time or full time. The ideal candidate must be able to provide one-on-one care to patients and have experience in outpatient orthopedics with an interest in manual therapy, women's health and/or holistic healing.

About The Company: We are a small practice east of the Huntington Village and we specialize in helping people who have been frustrated by traditional PT places and want real help in healing their bodies. We pride ourselves on uncovering the root cause of someone's pain in order to identify the best possible treatment plan.

Time:

All Patient Evaluation Sessions are 1-to-1 for 40 Minutes. This allows you to give the patient your full attention, and get your evaluation documentation done in a timely manner.

Daily dedicated documentation time to be successful in timely claims submission

Weekly patient rounds to discuss cases with your co-workers

Monthly in-services to teach one another new techniques or review old material

One on one meetings with me to discuss your goals and aspirations within the company or other, as well as to hold you accountable to what we set forth
