Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

This position is responsible for all aspects of emergency medical education for Paramedic and EMT staff treating pediatric patients. This role is responsible for on-boarding and training specialized skill sets required for ground and flight patient movement operations. The highly specialized nature of the Critical Care Transport operation requires dedicated specialized support to maintain staff clinical and operational currency.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in planning, implementation, coordination and evaluation of transport educational program offerings.
  • Prepares and delivers instruction on the activities of educational course participants during instructional time, evaluates learner performance, provides feedback, and develops learner remediation plans.
  • Fulfills transport educational program administrative requirements, to include certification status tracking, monitors staff education plans and competency progress, operations and clinical education gap analysis, new equipment education development
  • Participates in activities that promote the transport services department, capability promotion, and recruiting activities to attract new talent.
  • BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
