Description:Staff RN MedSurg Days 7:00AM-7:00PM Piedmont Eastside Snellville Competitive SOB AvailableThis 36 bed Med Surg General Surgery Department is a Center for Bariatric Excellence. Typical patient population also includes: General Surgery, Telemetry, and General Medical patients. The Nurse to Patient Ratio is between 1:5 or 1:6 depending on the census. Our Nurses work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide patient centered care. Our unit is comprised of multiple skill levels with the support of experienced charge nurses, and an energetic clinical manager. If you are looking for a work family the prides themselves on teamwork, then this is the unit for you.RESPONSIBLE FOR: The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. BLS certification required.
