**Job Description**

Manages the staff scheduling function within the LTC department. Evaluates staffing needs to ensure the provision of efficient quality nursing care. Schedules the LTC staff and prn pool. Coordinates the time and attendance process for LTC. Maintains computerized staffing system. The LTC Staff Scheduling Manager is responsible for meeting regulatory standards, complying with corporate policy and procedures and promoting internal and external satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education

+ Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling in clinical environments

+ Staff scheduling experience

+ Three years LTC nursing experience.

+ Good organizational and analytical skills necessary.

+ Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

+ Knowledge of database, spreadsheet, payroll, and time and attendance computer applications.
