Position: Staff Software Engineer, SRE / Staff Site Reliability Engineer
Role Overview: As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, you will balance individual contributions with leading new projects, setting technical direction, and mentoring team members. You will play a crucial role in helping engineering teams design, deploy, and manage reliable software across all environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep systems engineering and optimization to address performance issues.
- Define performance and reliability roadmaps.
- Set service-level objectives, improve observability, ensure production readiness, and optimize performance.
- Facilitate incident response and conduct root cause analysis.
- Automate operational tasks and design reliable system architectures.
- Mentor and train team members on best practices.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in backend software or infrastructure.
