Job DetailsWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Dispatch Manager to join our team. As a Dispatch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our dispatch department. You will work closely with our team of dispatchers, couriers, and logistics professionals to ensure that all shipments are delivered on time and in excellent condition. This is a permanent, full-time position with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth and advancement.Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of the dispatch department, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting of shipments.
  • Ensure that all shipments are delivered on time and in excellent condition.
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of dispatchers, couriers, and logistics professionals.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of logistics and transportation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in dispatch management, preferably in the courier or freight industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, carriers, and vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quickly and effectively.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in dispatch software and other relevant technology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
