Your unique expertise will be vital in driving innovation, and your contributions will have a direct impact on both the team and the investment management industry as a whole.What will you do?
  • Apply your trading domain knowledge, financial quantitative insights, and design skills to contribute to a high-performing engineering team.
  • Engage in the entire software development process, from gathering requirements to implementing solutions as we expand asset class capabilities across the platform.
  • Influence and contribute to a growing tech stack centered around AWS back-end services.
  • Collaborate on developing automation solutions that create scalable, reliable applications crucial to customers' business operations.
  • Advocate for design and development best practices while maintaining a pragmatic approach.
  • Mentor, coach, and inspire teams of product engineers, fostering a culture of excellence in delivering high-performing, secure enterprise applications.
  • Approach problems creatively, seek solutions, and communicate effectively throughout the process.
  • Contribute to an open, learning-focused, and transparent team environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in architecting and designing new products.
  • Expert knowledge in Java or Kotlin (preferred), or equivalent languages.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Experience applying Design Patterns, OOAD/SOLID principles, and writing automated unit tests.
  • Self-motivated to explore new technologies and able to navigate large codebases independently.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, motivated engineering team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Enjoys having fun at work while delivering impactful solutions.
Bonus:
  • Experience working with buy-side order management systems.
  • Familiarity with complex financial instruments and their valuation.
  • A background in mathematics.

Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
