* Ability to master new software applications as needed

Preferred Qualifications

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams

* Experience with Canvas and Gato software

Job Description

The Forensic Anthropology Center at Texas State University invites applications for a staff specialist position. The Staff Specialist will be responsible for assisting the director and associate director with tasks to support the daily operation of FACTS.

Job Duties

* Answer phone calls

* Collect and sort mail

* Order supplies and merchandise

* Assist with social media postings

* Update website and Canvas pages

* Reconcile invoices and receipts

* Place workorders as needed

* Manage maintenance on vehicles

* Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and meeting rooms

* Set up meeting rooms as needed

* Schedule meetings and reserve meeting space

* Create and archive meeting notes

* Maintain equipment inventories, checkouts, etc.

* Additional duties as assigned
