Carolina Legal Associates is adding to their team! We are looking for a motivated, professional Staffing Assistant with excellent organizational and communication skills. The staffing assistant will provide our recruiting team with administrative support. Responsibilities/Duties for Staffing Coordinator:

  • Answering incoming phone calls and greeting all visitors
  • Contacting potential candidates and scheduling interviews
  • Reviewing and screening resumes
  • Pre-screening candidates
  • Perform confidential background checks, reference checks, and employment verifications
  • Enter candidate information into the ATS and make notes to existing candidate files
  • Following up with candidates during the recruitment process
  • Maintain current client and candidate relationships to ensure successful placements and encourage future placements
  • Track all incoming resumes, placements, position changes, client communication, etc.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on resume counts and candidate status
  • Assist candidates during the interview process and after, answering questions and providing key materials
  • Maintaining office supply stock and organization
  • Scheduling and overseeing deliveries

Qualifications for Staffing Coordinator:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent work experience Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
  • Maintain a high degree of organization and efficiency by exhibiting meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with both candidates and hiring managers
  • Ability to work with a large volume database
  • Ability to work in a self-guided work environment and remain accountable for their work production
  • Ability to recognize and maintain confidential information
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred
  • Outstanding clerical skills such as data entry, emailing, scheduling, and proofreading
