Carolina Legal Associates is adding to their team! We are looking for a motivated, professional Staffing Assistant with excellent organizational and communication skills. The staffing assistant will provide our recruiting team with administrative support. Responsibilities/Duties for Staffing Coordinator:
- Answering incoming phone calls and greeting all visitors
- Contacting potential candidates and scheduling interviews
- Reviewing and screening resumes
- Pre-screening candidates
- Perform confidential background checks, reference checks, and employment verifications
- Enter candidate information into the ATS and make notes to existing candidate files
- Following up with candidates during the recruitment process
- Maintain current client and candidate relationships to ensure successful placements and encourage future placements
- Track all incoming resumes, placements, position changes, client communication, etc.
- Provide regular updates and reports on resume counts and candidate status
- Assist candidates during the interview process and after, answering questions and providing key materials
- Maintaining office supply stock and organization
- Scheduling and overseeing deliveries
Qualifications for Staffing Coordinator:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent work experience Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
- Maintain a high degree of organization and efficiency by exhibiting meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with both candidates and hiring managers
- Ability to work with a large volume database
- Ability to work in a self-guided work environment and remain accountable for their work production
- Ability to recognize and maintain confidential information
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred
- Outstanding clerical skills such as data entry, emailing, scheduling, and proofreading
