Oversight and assistance is provided as needed with daily staffing organization and departmental problem identification, data collection, solution solving and implementation to resolve over or under staffing services and emergency staffing surge preparedness/response. Accurate position control data and databases is maintained to coordinate the overall daily operation of budgeted ftes by utilizing Ansos/Lawson/Kronos databases that analyzes and builds queries for reporting staffing and productivity trends to VP, Directors and Managers monthly and when requested. All employee changes including EANs, departure evaluations and other employee status changes are processed within 48 hours of receiving information and forwarded to Human Resources for processing within specified timeframes. Assistance is provided with preparation of unit operational budgets by providing staffing, productivity control data to help determine projected YTD totals as requested. Nursing Team leaders work scheduling process for all Patient Care employees is effectively coordinated as evidenced by a schedule data input that is accurate and distributed back to Team Leaders within 24 hours of information being provided. Oversight is provided to ensure that all data files within Ansos software system are maintained and updated. Assistance is proviede to Information Systems with acquisition of needed software and hardware to keep ANSOS system up to date as needed. An accurate staffing schedule with current employee contact information is identified and reports on compliance of budgeted ftes to VP of PCS, PCS Directors, and Team Leaders are maintained. An accurate and up-to-date filled and open ftes and other trends within department budgets to VP, Directors and Team Leaders is provided as requested on a monthly basis. Payroll Dollars Excel spreadsheet is accurately completed and forwarded to accounting by Tuesday of payroll week, verifying the accuracy of payroll with no errors, in accordance with information provided. Quarterly NDNQI reports are completed as evidenced by an accurate staffing numbers for reporting. Compliance and Regulatory: This will have been satisfactorily performed when... Educational in-service and training to PCS staff, VP, Directors and Team Leaders is provided on utilization of staffing, productivity and position control reports quarterly and as needed or requested or as technology changes. Assistance is provided to PCS educators with various inservicing, education enrichment and regulatory programming as needed. Assistance is provided to the VP of PCS and PCS Directors in the formulation of policy and procedures relative to regulatory provisions of care, i.e., JCAHO, CMS, DHH, etc. Oversight and supervision is provided to other Administrative staff in the dept.
