Staffing Coordinator, Part Time - Days - Long Island Community Hospital : Job Details

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Staffing Coordinator, Part Time - NSG-Scheduling - - Evening. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures will utilize the automated nurse staffing office system. Gather interpret and input information to develop reports and monitor staffing data. Serves as receptionist maintains files and uses discretion and judgement when screening visitors and telephone calls. Organizes work load to meet established priorities. Job Responsibilities:Develops optimal staffing schedule based on employee needs unit coverage and hospital policies Obtains data regarding nursing coverage staffing patterns and work productivity Generates daily weekly or monthly schedules for unit or individual employees Revises Kronos system on a daily basis in response to sick calls voluntary/mandatory overtime and benefit time adjustments Source Information: Direct Observation Documentation Review Employee Appraisal Review Discussions...Staffing Coordinator, Staffing, Part Time, Staff, Nurse Manager, Coordinator, Healthcare, Business Services
