We have an opening for a Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler who can answer yes to these questions. We are seeking a Staffing Coordinator to join our independently owned and operated national agency.

Staffing Coordinator Primary Responsibilities:

  • Schedule caregivers with clients and communicate to all parties
  • Communicate frequently with caregivers and clients via phone, text, and email
  • Recruit and hire qualified candidates and build a team of invested caregivers
  • Watch a daily visit list to be sure all caregiver shifts are completed for our clients
  • Monitor and resolve late alerts and call offs
  • Process care notes and invoices for clients Long Term Care Insurance
  • Participates in on-call rotation as assigned
  • Confirm and update caregiver availability including vacation, sick time, and holidays
  • Document skills and attributes of caregivers to ensure strong matching to clients
  • Coach caregivers on policies and procedures
  • Document data on caregiver performance
  • Develop and implement caregiver recognition and retention programs
  • Follow up with new caregiver hires to explain the scheduling process
  • Establish a great rapport with caregivers, clients, and team members

Staffing Coordinator Requirements:

  • Experience Must Have at least One year experience scheduling in a home care/home health setting, fast paced staffing environment, Dr.'s office, dentist office, route scheduling or similar experience preferred
  • Education High school diploma
  • Skills Exceptional customer service skills, time management skills, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and relationship building skills
  • Characteristics This is an autonomous position, so were looking for individuals that are self-motivated, willing to learn, and accountable.

This is an office based position and at times may require visits to client homes, hospitals, and other locations as determined.
