Job Summary: The Ädelbrook, Inc Staffing Specialist supports and partners with the HR leadership team in staffing for open vacancies for a variety of positions within Ädelbrook programs. Responsible for full cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, screening, selection, onboarding and supporting candidates through the hiring process. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Supervision Received: The Staffing Specialist- Human Resources Department reports to the Human Resources Assistant Director. Supervision Exercised: No supervision required. May be responsible for cross-training and special projects. Duties and Responsibilities • Responsible for fully cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, onboarding and supporting candidates throughout hiring process • Assist in developing a continuous pipeline of engaged qualified candidates to support agency programs • Follows the recruitment process and/or workflow set in place by the HR Management Team • Post positions internally and externally; ensure positions are listed in current Applicant Tracking System and posted in appropriate external job boards. • Identify, attract, engage and qualify potential candidates. Track, update statuses, take detailed notes and follows process within the current ATS • Provide timely feedback and communicates with candidates and hiring managers and HR management. • Prepares, tracks and completes all required background checks. • Qualifies skills and requirements while verifying academic degrees and licenses. • Ensures that all necessary onboarding requirements and forms for employment are completed. • Ensures enrollment into appropriate New Employee Orientation class and facilitate all day one activities. • Provides orientation and onboarding process, benefits, policy and procedures information and assistance to all new employees. • Develops and maintains knowledge base of interviewing and record-keeping requirements. • Maintains knowledge and compliance with all local and federal fingerprint-based background checks requirements, standard hiring practices, EEOC, ADA and all other applicable regulations. • Host and organize open houses/recruiting socials, register and attend local career fairs and recruitment events as designated • Supports the HR Team in preparation for file audits • Supports the HR Team in billing and invoicing • Report metrics on recruitment activity to the HR Assistant Director or HR Director • Perform all other duties as delegated by the HR Assistant Director or HR Director Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Training in State and Federal labor, wage and hour and sexual harassment laws and on-the-job training in interviewing techniques are preferred. A willingness and ability to build a personal knowledge base of Federal and State Human Resources laws, DCF, SDE and agency policies and procedures, program procedures, and interviewing techniques are a plus. The ability to work with other employees with diverse educational, economic, religious and ethnic backgrounds is requisite as is credibility in supporting the mission of the agency. Education, Experience, and other Qualifications High School diploma or GED required. Minimum of 4 years experience in HR related field. Must be organized, able to set priorities, and able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all aspects of the agency. Must be personable and responsive to diverse needs of employees, outside suppliers, and job applicants. Must possess excellent interpersonal skill, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to work independently and be able to organize and prioritize and perform various job responsibilities and functions simultaneously. Maintain confidentiality at all times is essential to this role. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
