Position Overview:
Titan Talent is partnering with a growing organization to find a highly organized and proactive Staffing Specialist to join their team. In this role, you'll support the company's recruitment efforts, helping to attract and hire top talent while fostering internal career development. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership and hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create detailed job descriptions.
- Manage the hiring process, including posting positions, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
- Ensure candidates receive a smooth and engaging recruitment experience.
- Promote internal job opportunities and assist current team members through the application process.
- Collaborate on strategies to encourage employee referrals and develop pathways for internal mobility.
- Support training efforts to enhance team skills and career progression.
- Use multiple recruitment channels, including online platforms and partnerships with community organizations, to attract diverse talent.
- Represent the organization at job fairs and networking events to build connections with potential candidates.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (familiarity with UKG is a plus).
- Oversee the preparation of offer letters, background checks, and onboarding processes for new hires.
- Track key hiring metrics and provide data-driven insights to refine recruitment strategies.
- Serve as a resource to managers by providing hiring guidance and sharing recruitment best practices.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates, ensuring they are informed at every stage of the process.
- Ensure recruitment practices adhere to all employment laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on trends and innovations in talent acquisition to keep strategies competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment or staffing coordination, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of internal and external recruitment techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in applicant tracking systems (experience with UKG preferred) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-energy setting.
