Staffing Specialist - Garnet Health Medical Center : Job Details

Assists Nursing Management in staffing inpatient & outpatient areas with regard to volume, acuity, activity & collective bargaining agreements (CBA's). Assigns & schedules float employees, advance-booking employees for work & focusing on minimizing overtime whenever possible. Accurately documents employee absences, leaves & schedule changes on a daily basis. Reviews next shift, day and weekend staffing sheets to identify shortages / overages. Performs payroll functions. Demonstrates excellent attendance, reliability & employee/customer relations. Maintains a calm professional manner at all times.
