State Director – DD/IDD Services – Mid-Atlantic Region
An exceptional career opportunity to join a growth-oriented company in a senior-level role -- a leading national provider in long-term care and rehabilitation services for individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities is seeking a State Director to oversee the overall operations of a state division in the mid-Atlantic region. Home-based near major metro locations, this is an exempt position that requires flexible hours and semi-regular travel, including occasional overnight stays.
The State Director will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of community-based services, managing financials, and maintaining a positive corporate climate. Experience managing a $20M budget and multi-site operations is a must. In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and Medicaid funding is required. The State Director will lead the state management team, ensure the quality of services, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, the role involves budget management, contract negotiations, and the implementation of company policies.
Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership skills, an ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and a commitment to promoting the mission and values of an organization. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Human Services and three years of mid-management experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation organization, or a Bachelor's degree with five years of progressive management experience in organizations serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
