Who were looking for:

Detailers will design and detail stairs, guardrail, and miscellaneous/Structural Steel products from structural and architectural drawings and specifications and following all applicable building codes. Shop drawings will be created using Tekla. This is a position that requires a strong work ethic, willingness to learn and assist, to help complete projects in a timely fashion.

Your workday might look like this:

• Review structural and architectural drawings and specifications for conflicts/questions.
• Miscellaneous steel and Structural Steel detailing.
• Work with Project Management to create RFIs.
• Use Tekla to create shop drawings and erection plans.
• Adhere to applicable building codes and company design standards.

You need to have:

• Experience with Misc. and structural steel detailing using and Tekla
• Comprehension of and ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, etc.
• Friendly personality and willing to work as part of a team
• 5+ years of active structural steel detailing experience
