Job Summary The Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented International Liaison for Emerging Markets to provide temporary part-time support for our global initiatives. This short-term position focuses on addressing key challenges in collaboration with the Graduate School, the International Center, and other stakeholders, particularly in optimizing our admissions processes and funnel. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying and resolving bottlenecks as we build and streamline these processes, positioning the college for growth in key emerging markets. - Key Responsibilities: Admissions Process Optimization: Work closely with the Graduate School, International Center, and other relevant stakeholders to identify and address inefficiencies in the international admissions process. Bottleneck Resolution: Analyze current workflows and assist in removing obstacles within the admissions funnel, ensuring smoother operations and faster processing times. Business Development Support: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify and support business opportunities in emerging markets. Cross-Cultural Communication: Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders from diverse cultural -. Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with international partners and clients, ensuring effective communication and smooth coordination. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports to provide updates to international applicants and students. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. Previous experience working in or with emerging markets is highly desirable. Strong understanding of global business practices, regulatory environments, and cross-cultural communication. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
