Sterett Creek Line Cook - BEYONDER Camp : Job Details

The Drunken Minnow is searching for a motivated and reliable Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this exciting role, you will play a crucial part in creating delicious dishes that leave our guests wanting more. Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality menu items according to established recipes and plating standards.
• Cook food items using various techniques like grilling, frying, sautéing, and baking.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout the shift.
• Portion and assemble dishes efficiently to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Communicate effectively with fellow cooks and expedite orders during peak service hours.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with kitchen prep tasks as needed (washing produce, chopping vegetables, etc.).
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working collaboratively with the kitchen team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment (prior line cook experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently while also being a team player.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Passion for food and a willingness to learn.
