STERILE PROCESSING SPECIALIST-FT - JEFFERSON REGIONAL : Job Details

HOURS: Mon-Fri, DaysEducational Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Associate degree in healthcare, supply chain or other related field preferred. Licensure and Certifications: Certified Registered Central Service Technician or Sterile Processing and Distribution Technicial Certificate preferred. Experience and Skill Requirements:

• Familiarity with surgical supplies and medical terminology.
• Understanding of inventory management principles.
• Strong attention to detail to accurately track inventory levels, identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with qualify standards.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with vendors, interact with surgical teams, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to organize and prioritize task, manage multiple priorities simultaneously and maintain orderly inventory records.

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficiency in using inventory management software, spreadsheets and other computer applications for data entry, analysis and reporting.
• 2-year experience in healthcare facility or industrial warehouse distribution/inventory or surgical processing technician.
