A hospital in the beautiful Central Washington Area is in search of a new Hospital Sterile Processing Technician. The Sterile Processing Tech will join an award winning 150 bed facility. This medical center is part of a well known health system in the state of Washington and is known for consistently providing excellent clinical care and maintaining high standards of quality. With a busy and productive Surgical Department, the Sterile Processing Technician will join an organization with an amazing culture, and reputation in the community. The Hospital Sterile Processing Technician will report directly to the Sterile Processing Manager. Supported by supervisors as well as a large team of Sterile Processing Technicians, this person will play a key role in the Surgical Department. The Hospital Sterile Processing Technician will play the crucial role of providing sterile, clean instruments, tools, and trays that will be used in patient care. They will also be responsible for retrieving any used tools and instruments for cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization treatment. The Sterile Processing Technician will have their Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD). This role is truly one of the most important roles in the hospital, so the ideal candidate will be well versed in Sterile Processing procedures.
