Employment Type:Full timeShift:Rotating ShiftDescription:Sterile Processing TechnicianFull Time - Mix ShiftPosition Highlights:Recognized leader: Magnet Hospital in the Capital RegionQuality of Life: Where career opportunities and quality of life convergeAdvancement: Strong orientation program, generous tuition allowance and career developmentWhat you will do:The sterile processing technician will deliver support for the hospital is all in a day's work.Responsibilities:Responsible for supplying, processing, and distribution (SPD)of materials and equipment to assist a diverse range of services for St. Peter's Hospital Nursing, clinical, surgical and specialty units such as Operating Room, Cardiac Cath Lab, Obstetrics, X-ray and many more, that rely on SPD support for their daily equipment and instrument needs.What you will need:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Sterile Processing Technician Certification (preferred)
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Organizational, communication, computer skills, and extensive knowledge of sterilization required
Pay Range: $17.25 - $22.54Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
