Additional three certifications listed below, must be acquiredby new employees or current employees grandfathered into the role within two years. CertifiedInstrument Specialist (CIS), Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER), and Certified HealthcareLeader (CHL) through Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) formally known asInternational Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) orCertified Surgical Instrument Specialist (CSIS), Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER),and Certified in Sterile Processing Management (CSPM) through Certification Board for SterileProcessing and Distribution (CBSPD).
