Job Title: Environmental Monitoring Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Monitoring Analyst to perform routine environmental monitoring of GMP areas, personnel monitoring for manufacturing operations, and the setup and operation of environmental monitoring equipment. The candidate will follow and execute standard operating procedures, work instructions, and protocols. Additionally, the role includes performing reading, revising, and training on SOPs, work instructions, forms, and protocols, supporting QC micro analysts in sample receipt from manufacturing, tracking and trending of EM, bioburden, sterility, and endotoxin data collected, performing inventory stocking in the QC labs, and requesting new materials from the warehouse. The analyst will also be responsible for streaking and isolation of recovered organisms.

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine environmental monitoring of GMP areas.

+ Perform personnel monitoring for manufacturing operations.

+ Set up and operate environmental monitoring equipment.

+ Follow and execute standard operating procedures, work instructions, and protocols.

+ Perform reading, revising, and training on SOPs, work instructions, forms, and protocols.

+ Support QC micro analysts in sample receipt from manufacturing.

+ Track and trend EM, bioburden, sterility, and endotoxin data collected.

+ Perform inventory stocking in the QC labs and request new materials from the warehouse.

+ Streak and isolate recovered organisms.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ AS/BS in a science field (life sciences preferred)

+ 0-3 years prior lab or environmental monitoring experience (can be from industries outside of pharma)

+ BioWorks certification with 0-2 years of GMP experience considered

+ Cleanroom experience preferred but not required

+ Knowledge in cell culture and aseptic techniques preferred

+ Experience following SOPs and executing batch records

Work Environment

The work environment includes both lab and office settings. The lab is a cleanroom environment with level 10k and 100k cleanrooms. The candidate will be responsible for sterile gowning and maintaining certification for sterile gowning.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
