JOB SUMMARY

Under direct supervision, operate sterilizer machine and perform sterilization related duties.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate sterilization machine to decontaminate product and/or material.
  • Review sterilization cycle for successful completion.
  • Identify nonconforming product through post sterilization sampling.
  • Create sterilization control documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Complete other paperwork as required.
  • Operate powered material handling equipment to stage, organize, load and remove material.
  • Maintain clean, safe and orderly work area.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Basic keypunch skills.
  • Basic math and problem solving abilities.
  • Previous experience driving a fork lift.
