Position Overview:

Pride Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained to meet the highest standards of safety and efficacy. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient care and the overall efficiency of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established protocols.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Perform inventory management tasks, including tracking supplies and restocking as necessary.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control policies at all times.
• Assist in training new staff members on sterile processing procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sterile Processing or Central Processing (CPD)
• Certification required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Knowledge of sterilization and SPD processes
• COVID vaccination (including booster) and 2024-2025 flu vaccine required (or attestation to receive it)
