To meet our clients' needs, Deployed Services operates 24 hours/365 days and requires the flexibility to work additional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.The Stock Clerk Supervisor provides direction and planning for the activities with warehousing and inventory. Oversees and coordinates the receipt and placement of materials, supplies, and packaging components, as well as the shipment of products and equipment. Essential Functions:
- Supervise, train, and develop shipping and inventory department personnel
- Provide safety training to all shipping employees; actively enforce all safety programs and policies
- Monitor the quality system, ensuring that all loading procedures are current, up to date, and are being followed by the employees
- Create and maintain a schedule of daily loading activities using all resources available
- Direct packaging, identification, and shipping of product to ensure the material is received in good condition
- Assist with orders for freight shipping- picking, packing, and wrapping shipments
- Safely operate forklift
- Maintain cleanliness and safety procedures of the warehouse
- Ensures OSHA and Industry Compliance
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS SharePoint)
- Knowledge of logistics operations and shipping procedures and documents
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and operation procedures
- Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking and time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to adapt to an ever-changing environment
- Must be able to read, speak, and write English
- Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a warehouse/shipping/receiving environment
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in a Shipping management or supervisory role
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
- Must pass a motor vehicle record check, as well as an employer and government background check (e-QIP or eAPP), after accepting a conditional offer of employment
