US Chemical Storage is seeking a Stock Room Clerk that will be responsible for handling, receiving, storage and issuing US Chemical Storage, LLC's inventory. Controls through conducting cycle counts, inventory rotation and issuing inventory. This individual must have strong math and computer skills, as they will be responsible for maintaining records of large inventory counts, where accuracy is critical. Responsibilities:
- Ensures inventory is pulled and issued daily for production personnel.
- Ensures returned inventory is placed back into stock (both in the ERP system and in the stockroom).
- Places product into designated areas timely as it enters the facility.
- Record inventory changes within the ERP system as it occurs.
- Keep inventory stock room labeled with labeling equipment such as identification tags.
- Operate forklift for moving stock material.
- Work with Receiving Clerk for damaged/defective stock.
- Complete daily cycle counts as requested by manager.
- Play a key role in yearly physical inventory.
- Ensures that the highest safety and sanitation standards are always maintained.\
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Experience - At least two years of relevant experience in inventory management.
- Have a great attitude and willing to grow with the company.
- Ability to exhibit leadership skills in job knowledge, skills, and attendance
- Diligently follow safe work practices for yourself and team members.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepares reports.
- Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Organizing and coordinating skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Technical - Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with an ERP system a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment up to 8 hours per day.
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. to waist and overhead with proper lifting techniques.
- Ability to sit, bend, twist, squat, stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
- Wear all required PPE.
- Good physical condition and endurance.
- Ability to work in high heat conditions.
