The Hershey Company Stuarts Draft plant is a Non-Union plant producing products such as Reese's Pieces, Reese Cups, Reese Shapes, Reese Bars, Mr. Goodbar, Mounds, Almond Joy, NutRageous, Oh Henry, FastBreak, Whatchamacallit, Baking Chips, etc. in a high-speed complex environment.

Pay:

  • Starting pay rate: $31.71 per hour
  • $1.00 per hour shift differential for working 2nd or 3rd shift
  • Overtime potential

Shifts:

  • We require that you are flexible to work any shift, weekends, overtime, and holidays
    • 2nd Shift Work Schedule - 2:30pm -11:00pm
  • Mandatory overtime could be weekly, daily and/or weekends.

Summary:

The storeroom clerk is responsible for performing all tasks associated with receiving, stocking, issuing, shipping, returning, cycle counting, and delivering of storeroom goods/parts.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Follow all safety instructions and procedures.
  • Daily duties include working the customer service window, putting away parts in the storeroom and on the third floor, cycle counting parts, shipping parts, issuing in-stock parts and supplies to customers, receiving parts, and spare parts kitting.
  • Must be able to unload/move parts using a forklift, walkie, pallet jack, and hand lift daily as needed.
  • Maintain workspace and equipment in a clean and safe manner.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers, coworkers, leaders, and vendors.
  • Perform all expectations and duties of the job in accordance with General Plant Rules, Good Manufacturing Practices, Quality Standards, HACCP Guidelines, PPE requirements, OSHA Guidelines, and Hershey Global Behavior Standards.
  • Ensure that the storeroom is secure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Self-motivated with strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must be able to work safely and independently, completing all assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintain positive working relationships with others, and be able to adapt quickly to priority changes.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical machine components.
  • SAP and/or Storeroom experience a plus

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop, twist, and lift parts up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull several hundred pounds with hand truck/pallet jack, etc.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
