Stockroom Clerk - Wakefield's Martin's : Job Details

FUNCTION: Aids in the processing of merchandise. Acts in a professional manner thus creating a pleasant environment for all to work. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures accuracy of paperwork, receipts, and manifest.

Assists in loading and unloading of truck.

Ensures accuracy of all outgoing stock and transfers.

Ensures that merchandise is quickly and accurately checked in and sent to sales floor.

Ensures information regarding mailings is correct before shipping to DC.

Assists in housekeeping as instructed by supervisor.

Assist in maintaining orderly appearance of dressing rooms, internal and external trash pickup, and hanger pickup.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF JOB: The physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the job: Required to stand, walk, talk or hear, use hands and have ability to reach overhead. Regular lifting or moving of up to 25lbs, possible up to 50lbs. Requires bending, stooping, and ability to climb stairs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus and ability to write, count, and read required shipping/ company paperwork.
