ROLE: STORE MANAGER

The profile of the Store Manager reflects the philosophy of the brand, someone whom, with impeccable professionalism, attention to details and technical know-how, leads as the brand ambassador for the local market.

The Store Manager is a dynamic leader by nature, motivating the store team through his/her energy and passion. In addition to inspiring the team members, he/she creates management routines and standards, aimed at achieving and upholding excellence in service to customers. He/she is in charge of the store image, creating a family feeling in a luxury setting that shuns overstatement.

This position of high responsibility also encompasses Administrative activities and Store budget management (sales plans, profitability, customers portfolio, etc.).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads by example his/her love of selling and being on the sales floor and interacting with customers.
  • Highly aware of everything concerning sales at the moment (current sales, foot traffic, number of VIPs).
  • Responsible for achieving financial objectives set by the company (sell-through, etc.).
  • Monitors the KPIs, understanding which actions need to be taken to improve and lead the store team to take the right actions.
  • Adopts and implements sales strategies and marketing plans, aimed at increasing revenues. Suggests new initiatives aimed at growing the business.
  • Monitors the overall performances of each sales assistant and assesses their contribution to store revenues.
  • Communicates with the head office (Retail/Merchandising) beforehand, situations that will profoundly improve sales (low stock on best sellers, missing product needs, etc.).
  • Provides prompt feedback to the head office, especially on market feedback, products, competitors activities, marketing actions, etc.
  • Identifies areas of improvement to increase sales.
  • Ensures high level of service at all times for every walk-in customer.
  • Ensures excellence in selling ritual, supervises and assists the team to provide consistent customer service excellence.
  • Responsible for developing a strong and active store customers' book.
  • Professionally manages customers' complaints.
  • Coordinates with the head office for any special event or marketing activity and directs the store team on the execution.
  • Sets high standards of grooming of the team members.
  • Ensures impeccable store aesthetics and high luxury standards, arranging the products display in collaboration with the Visual Department.
  • Ensures the general maintenance of the store and manage daily maintenance issues, in order to keep a high quality store environment which reflects the company standards.
  • Builds a strong team through daily coaching and motivation, serving as a mentor for the team members.
  • Responsible for building a well-rounded team of professionals.
  • Responsible for the team career planning and development, putting the ground for a successful talent succession plan.
  • Conducts regular team meetings to align on the objectives, review results and make action plans.
  • Carries out annual staff performance evaluations.
  • Responsible for the efficiency of the organization in every area of the store.
  • Responsible for the compliance standards in the store.
  • Responsible for the store inventory.
  • Maintains organization of the administrative responsibilities (sales reports, petty cash, records, etc.).
  • Coordinates the logistic activities (timely transfer in and out) according to the company's requests.
  • REQUIREMENTS:

    Education: Bachelor degree

    Required experience: Minimum 5 years retail management experience including at least 3+ years experience in managing a complex location.

    Languages: English, both written and oral. Mandarin is a nice plus.

    Competencies: Team leadership, able to lead the team by example, inspire the team members to convey the sense of belonging to the company and the passion for it.

    Familiar with operation model of US commercial shopping malls.

    Strong experience in managing people and excellent customer service mindset.

    Strong leadership and people coaching & developing skills.

    Resourceful with updated market intelligence and business trends.

    Resourceful with industry information and market trend of target enterprise.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
