Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for a high energy, detail-oriented Store Manager to join our team! This position would be responsible for all operations in a fast paced, dynamic, and rewarding environment. Every role within our retail operations helps us further our mission of empowering people to increase the dignity and independence that comes with earning a paycheck and achieving self-sufficiency.Pay: $50,000Job Type: Full-Time, ExemptHours of Operation:Monday-Sunday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PMEssential Duties and Tasks:
  • Key decision maker in improving operational processes and workflows that enhance the efficiency and quality of store results in collaboration with the senior store manager.
  • Manage store expense control and payroll to optimize business.
  • Focus staff on Loss Prevention priorities and Safety Awareness.
  • Follow company guidelines to foster a positive shopping experience.
  • Train, develop, and manage a team of Associates and Assistant Managers.
  • Ability to make good hiring decisions while following the companies hiring process.
  • Manage and coach all associates on achieving sales goals with a focus on key metrics.
  • Develop a culture of goal attainment focused on the company's mission, vision, and values.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED, required. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of management/supervisory experience.
  • Retail, logistics, warehouse, or light manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Must have the ability to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location is required.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights. 45 pounds to be consistent with ASM requirement.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
