Maintains cleanliness of the store in an effort to exhibit a clean store to our guests as well as to create a clean and safe work environment for other associates and guests.

Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform tasks that contribute to overall sanitation and cleanliness of the store that include:
- Emptying garbage
- Washing dishes
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces, such as ovens, dishwashers, racks, tables, counter tops, etc.
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming the floor
- Steam clean floors and carpet every five weeks
- Clean all glass in all refrigeration units (except for meat and deli display cases)
- Check restroom cleanliness at the top of every hour
- Clean and sanitize when necessary
- Replace paper towels and toilet paper
- Order and maintain cleaning supplies and tools
- Clean associate breakroom, fridge, sinks, floors and tables
- Assist in shelf cleaning in the store four times per year
- Perform light maintenance duties
- Touch up paint on railings, door frames, walls etc.
- Patch small holes in walls
- Provide customer service to guests
- Other duties as assigned
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences

WORK SCHEDULE
The Store Sanitation is a part-time or full-time hourly position. The work schedule will include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
