This is a full time, non exempt Local 2 Union Position! A strong storeroom clerk should be able to multi-task and prioritize to ensure that all supply needs are met and deliveries are handled appropriately. The Olympic Club offers free meals during work shifts, free golf and tennis on Mondays at our Lakeside campus and a variety of sport and social events for employees throughout the year. Responsibilities:
- Receive/direct all deliveries that enter the Club.
- Be able to commute to both club houses in San Francisco.
- Verify proper quantity and quality of all goods delivered, referencing Purchase Orders and/or order sheets when applicable.
- Multi-task and prioritize to ensure that all supply needs are met and deliveries are handled appropriately and timely.
- Process requisitions requested by departments during storeroom hours
- Organize, control, and maintain storeroom pars.
- Take weekly food and beverage inventories to generate orders.
- Assist in end of month inventory (food & beverage and china, glass, silver).
- Take weekly inventory of non-food/supply items to maintain pars.
- Aid in maintaining accurate inventories and order guides in Club purchasing system (currently Birchstreet).
- Use purchasing system to issue and receive Purchase Orders as necessary.
- Use BEO's to determine Club's upcoming needs.
- Collect and organize invoices.
- Other duties and miscellaneous tasks pertaining to the storeroom/purchasing/receiving/inventory as assigned by Purchasing Manager and Club Management.
Qualifications Required: - High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Fluent English oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Outlook, e-mail, internet
Qualifications Desired: - 2-3 years of shipping/receiving/purchasing/storeroom experience
- Previous experience with purchasing software
- Spanish communication skills
