The Contra Costa County Health Services Department is offering an excellent employment opportunity for qualified individuals interested in the Storeroom Clerk position. There is currently one (1) vacancy in the Materials Management Unit located in Martinez, CA.
We are looking for someone who is:

What you will typically be responsible for:
* Performing a variety of clerical work to support storeroom or warehouse operations in a health services setting
* Receiving, storing, and issuing materials, supplies, and equipment
* Performing manual work that is required to move and lift heavy and bulky objects
* Working collaboratively with a variety of both County and non-County staff to successfully serve the patients, caregivers, and hospitals
* Reading and understanding a variety of records, documents, and reports.
* Performing basic math calculations
* Acting as a back-up Driver Clerk to maintain scheduled delivery route, as required

Licenses Required: Driver's License: Candidates must possess a valid California motor vehicle operator's license. Out-of-state valid motor vehicle operator's license will be accepted during the application process.
Education: Possession of a high school diploma, G.E.D. equivalency, or high school proficiency certificate.
Other Requirement: Employees in this class are subject to drug and alcohol testing under provisions of the County's Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.

CONVICTION HISTORY
