We are making significant strategic investments that will not only decrease our own environmental footprint, but also help customers adapt to long-term environmental and social change through the development of cleaner, greener solutions.Arxada is looking for a Storeroom Clerk in Rochester, NY that will provide to maintain spare parts inventory and make recommendations for minimum and naximums of parts in stock.This role will be expected to work on a rotating shift schedule. The expected salary range for this role is $38,000-$49,000, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Essential Job Functions:
  • Maintains spare parts inventory, sets up all parts for equipment in stock with recommended minimums and maximums and orders parts to maintain levels; establishes parts/material requirements, establishes a parts pick list for plant equipment, minimize inventory stock-outs.
  • Provides issue of materials, keeps adequate supply of each stock item on hand to meet needs of maintenance and other users.
  • Maintains an orderly stores facility - responsible for physically storing items.
  • Maintains up-to-date catalog listings of parts and supplies in stock with locations.
  • Processes stock and non-stock receipts on a timely basis, notifying users of their arrivals; verifies accuracy of received materials.
  • Orders parts as needed including during emergencies and expedites delayed orders; evaluates vendor performance based on cost and delivery.
  • Monitors/compares parts lead time and costs.
  • Maintains and controls tools inventory
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Attention to detail and an understanding/utilization of Excel, SAP, and any required third party maintenance scheduling programs in order to improve maintenance resource efficiency and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Three years related experience in maintenance stores area
  • Prior background in maintenance skilled trades, planning and scheduling helpful to understand equipment requirements.
  • Requires experience with fork trucks with past or present forklift certification
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) preferred
