Job Description:5 days a week / 6:00am - 2:00pmSpecial Working Needs--- Some HolidaysJOB SUMMARY
- Inventory all food and non-food in Food & Nutrition Services storeroom, freezers and walk-in refrigerators.
- Receives food deliveries, stock shelves, and rotates stock on a first in, first out basis.
- Inventory all food and non-food supplies on nursing units.
- Stock units with items for age specific patients by assigned par levels.
- Assembles food items needed for production area, tray line, and cafeteria.
- Enters data for floor stocks in DFM computer system
- Prints floor stock requisitions.
- Verifies for quantity and pricing.
- Edits and/or modifies as necessary.
- Update each unit floor stock's requisition.
- Fills carts for cafeteria and production area, utilizing requisition sheets.
- Enters data into DFM stock editor for withdrawals, prints, verifies for quantity, etc. and updates if correct.
- Chop fresh vegetables daily to be used salad bar and for patient tray service.
- responsible for delivering 10:00am nourishments and supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent or higher required.
- Prior experience in food service is preferred.
- Ability to read and write required.
- Experience in quantity food production is preferred.
- Prior computer experience is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with good driving record required.
