Storeroom Purchaser- Broward Health Coral Springs - ARAMARK : Job Details

The Storeroom Purchaser is responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, and pulling food and supplies, ensuring storerooms are organized and labeled as needed.

Open Availability required. Shifts begin at 4am several days a week.

Pay Range: $20.00/hr-$25.00/hr based on experience.

Please Note:

We are looking for someone Monday - Friday, able to work two days/ week from 4:00AM-12:30pm and the other days 8am-4:30pm. The position is hourly. This is a very physical job with consistent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 70pounds. There will be work in and out of freezers and refrigerators putting away large shipments, and warm uniform attire will be provided. This position also supports the Executive Chef with ordering and inventory and occasional cooking for special catering events when needed. • Receive and store all incoming food and supplies, noting any defects.
• Return improper or unacceptable products.
• Store groceries and supplies in the correct locations (e.g., meats and frozen vegetables in the freezer).
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
• Rotate stock according to FIFO guidelines.
• Verify quantities, pricing, and extensions on invoices.
• Perform daily and weekly sanitation cleanings.
• Order products based on established par levels and guidelines.
• Complete monthly inventories.
• Perform special cleaning tasks and other duties as assigned.

• Previous inventory experience preferred
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic math and counting skills required
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling 50-100 lbs
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
