Base pay range
$162,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr
The Role:
As the AI Strategic Account Director, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by effectively prospecting new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and closing deals. Your role will involve understanding various forms of Gen AI engaging with technical aspects, and showcasing solutions to potential clients.
What You'll Do and Achieve:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the existing customer base, build and launch GTM strategies for their new Gen AI product suite.
- Navigate complex organizational hierarchies to pinpoint key decision-makers, including executive sponsors and internal champions.
- Conduct thorough research to understand your customers' business objectives and guide them through a value-driven sales process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to advance deals and ensure long-term customer success.
- Consistently achieve ARR revenue targets by employing a metrics-driven approach to sales.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to build pipeline, close deals, and achieve predictable, repeatable bookings.
- Provide valuable feedback to other corporate functions to drive continuous improvement.
- Create ROI and business justification reports using data-driven analysis.
Who You Are:
- You bring 8+ years of closing experience with a proven track record as a top performer in the Enterprise segment within a start-up.
- You excel at learning, pitching, and demonstrating highly technical products, and can thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- You have a history of closing complex deals and navigating sales within intricate organizational structures.
- You are adept at uncovering new opportunities and building out new territories using a repeatable methodology.
- You have experience building strong relationships and selling directly to C-level executives as well as more technical stakeholders.
- You possess knowledge of best-in-class software, with a strong technical understanding of integrations, APIs, infrastructure management, security, and analytics.
- You have experience selling technical SaaS and cloud-based solutions (Gen AI / ML is a MUST).
- Be used to carrying an annual quota of $3-5M.
Bonus Skills and Attributes:
- Experience in Gen AI / LLM / ML etc.
- Experience generating own leads and prospects, being a self-sufficient Sales Executive.
- Familiarity with target account selling, solution selling, and methodologies like MEDDIC or Challenger is a plus.
- Consistent top performer is a must / start-up hunger.
